Father, I lift myself to You today, and I thank You that I do not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. I thank You that I delight in Your law, and meditate on it day and night (Psalms 1:1-2).
Father, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that I may know You better. May the eyes of my heart be enlightened, in order that I may know the hope to which You have called me, the riches, and Your glorious inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:16).
Father, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that I may know You better. May the eyes of my heart be enlightened, in order that I may know the hope to which You have called me, the riches, and Your glorious inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:16).
Father, fill me with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Help me to live a life worthy of You, and to please You in everything, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of You. Strengthen me with Your power, so that I may have great endurance and patience, and so that I may joyfully give thanks to You.
Father, You have qualified me to share in the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of light. You have rescued me from the dominion of darkness and brought me into the Kingdom of Jesus, Who has provided redemption and the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:9-14).
Father, because You love me, and by Your grace, give me encouragement and hope, encourage my heart and strengthen me in every good deed and word (2 Thessalonians 2:16-17).
Father, You are the rock and fortress that leads and guides me (Psalms 31:3). You have ordered my steps, and You delight in me (Psalms 37:23). You are a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. Show me Your Word and the way I should go. (Psalms 119:105). You have promised that when I pass through the waters, You will be with me; and that when I pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over me. When I walk through the fire, it will not burn me, and the flames will not set me ablaze. Be with me today, and may I walk in Your power (Isaiah 43:2).
Father, I thank You that Your word says that when I walk, You promise to guide me, and that when I sleep, You will watch over me, and that when I am awake, You will speak to me (Proverbs 6:22). I thank You that when I make decisions about what to do and where to go, I will hear Your voice behind me saying “this is the way; walk in it” (Isaiah
30:21).
Father God, who can grasp the love that You have for us? It goes deeper than we can understand, but it is always there. It is Your love that has made me more than a conqueror. Let me today be convinced that neither death nor life, angels nor demons, the present not the future, height nor depth, nor any power or anything else in all creation will be able to separate me from the love that You revealed through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37-39). I pray that as You dwell in my heart, I will be rooted and established in Your love. Give me power to understand the width, length, height, and depth of Your love, so that I may be filled with all Your fullness (Ephesians 3:17-19).
Father, I pray that I will rejoice even through trials. I understand that trials come to test our faith. Just as gold is refined by fire, let my faith be tested; it is far more valuable than gold. Faith that stands the test will result in praise, glory, and honor when You, Jesus, are revealed (1 Peter 1:6-7).
Father, I am one of Your children, and have overcome the world because You dwell in me and because You are greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) Father Your way is perfect; Your word is always true. You are my shield, and I take refuge in You (Psalms 18:30). You know what is going to happen before it happens; You know exactly what lies ahead. Your Purpose will stand, and You will do all that You please. What You have said You will bring about, and what You have planned, You will do (Isaiah 46:10-11).
Surely, Lord, Your arm is not too short to save, neither is Your ear to dull to hear (Isaiah 59:1). I pray that I will not grow weary in my faith, through unbelief regarding Your promises, but will be strengthened in my faith as I give glory to You, being fully persuaded that You have power to do what You have promised (Romans 4:20-21).
Father, Jesus, I pray for Your peace. You said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27) May my heart not be troubled or afraid, because You have given me Your peace.
Father, I close this prayer and I pray victory in my life, marriage, family, and finances. I pray for victory in my walk with You. Through You, I can push back my enemies; through Your name, I can trample my foes. I will not trust in my own weapons, for they do not bring victory; but You give me victory over my enemies. You put my adversaries to shame. So, Father, today I walk in and profess the victory You have given me.
Father, I thank You for Your faithfulness, that You are with me, that You are watching over me wherever I may go, and that You will not leave me until You have done what You have promised me. I praise You, Father, for Your love that goes to the heavens, and Your faithfulness that goes to the skies. I praise You, Lord, that today Your faithfulness is being shown to me (Psalms 36:5). In Jesus’ name, amen
Rooted in Christ,
Jackie Burgess
